Lamborghini Achieves Record Sales for Fifth Straight Year

Lamborghini has announced its best-ever global sales figures for 2025, delivering 10,747 vehicles worldwide. This marks the fifth consecutive year of record sales, demonstrating sustained growth since 2021 and the third year in a row exceeding 10,000 units. The 2025 total surpasses the previous record set in 2024 by a narrow margin of 60 vehicles.

Hybrid Power Drives Growth

The company’s success is directly linked to the introduction of hybrid technology across its lineup. The Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first hybrid supercar featuring a V12 engine and electric assistance, has become a key driver. Deliveries of the second hybrid model, the Temerario (powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid), are now underway.

Even the high-volume Urus SUV gained a plug-in hybrid option, further boosting sales. Lamborghini also produced the extremely limited Fenomeno, a V12 model of which only 29 units were made globally, catering to ultra-high-net-worth buyers.

Market Performance and Competitor Landscape

Lamborghini’s strongest sales region remains the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), accounting for 4650 deliveries in 2025. The Americas followed closely with 3347 vehicles, while the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Australia (272 deliveries), contributed 2750 units.

Compared to competitors, Ferrari is expected to announce its 2025 results soon, having already reported strong sales in the first nine months of the year. Ferrari delivered 10,488 vehicles through September, an increase over the previous year, and is on track to potentially surpass its 2024 record of 13,752 units. McLaren aimed for 6000 units in 2025, while Aston Martin is projected to deliver around 5500. Maserati, however, faces headwinds due to financial challenges at its parent company, Stellantis, and is expected to report lower sales.

Strategic Growth, Not Just Volume

Lamborghini’s chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, emphasized that the company’s focus is not just on maximizing volume but on “consolidating results” after years of growth. He stated that Lamborghini aims to interpret market dynamics and respond to customer expectations strategically, even in a complex global environment.

“This approach does not aim for peaks in volumes, but allows us to consolidate the results achieved following the growth of recent years.”

This strategic approach suggests that Lamborghini is prioritizing sustainable expansion over aggressive sales targets, ensuring long-term brand value and customer satisfaction.
